*X-2 movie mode on.*

...okay, before i start, go find the X-men trade paperbacks titled ' God loves, man kills'. That's where the idea for the sequel came from.

Ok, now i'm ready.

How's the movie you ask? IT WAS AWESOME!!! No, make that FREAKING AWESOME!!! Thank you Mr. Bryan Singer for you have made my dream come true. A true X-men movie. Not just a comic book to movie like (80's) The punisher or Captain America (I don't even think it was a movie, a crap more like it!). This is more or less better than X-men. Where the last movie excites us with the way the actor/es portray the character and awe us with the special effects when they us their powers, the sequel excites us again and again with the character developments and awe us with the special effects when they use their powers again, again, and again. Especially Nighcrawlers ( As Neo from the Matrix would say 'Whoa!'). You just have to see the scene in the white house when Nighcrawler tried to assasinate the President. Awesome. Or the scene when Wolverine barely break a sweat killing those Special Forces with green and black makeup (i thought one of them look like toad from the first movie). Awesome. Or the dogfight scene with two fighters and Nighcrawlers teleports to save rogue. Awesome. Or the fight scene between Wolverine and Deathstrike. Yes, awesome.

Didja catch all the cameos from other Xmen characters? Some just in text forms, like Gambit (in the computer when Mystique tried to locate Magneto). Hank McCoy (Beast), he was being interviewed in one of the scene about mutants. Collosus (didn't know he draws quite well). Kitty pryde, Jubilee, Banshee (in the movie it was a girl, he supposed to be an irish lad if i'm not mistaken). Were there other cameos i didn't catch? Tell me in the guestbook.

There's a lot being change from the comic to the movie, for instance, Rogue supposed to be Mystique adopted daughter, Nightcrawler is Mystique's son (if i'm not mistaken). Rogue doesn't falls for Iceman, she have all her eyes for Gambit, Ma cherie. Maybe in X-3:Attack of the mutant (Ha ha) i guess.

Man, i just love the movie. And an added bonus was they were showing Matrix reloaded trailer and The Hulk trailer (although technically i've watch both of them) but it's just so damn good to watch it on the big screen.

GOTTA WATCH IT AGAIN. kita gi tengok ek wak?

P/s: Jean grey isn't dead, if my guess is right, Bryan Singer will use The Phoenix Saga as the next movie plotline (as one of my friend points out there were a shadow of a phoenix in the water where Jean Grey were. Was it? didn't catch it). Where Jean Grey will reincarnate as the powerful Phoenix, and where Cyclops will meet his father (forgot his name) who joined the Starjammers (A space pirate i tell you) ;P

So, one movie down, a lot of movies to go. Can you say broke? Of course you can. Heh.

Okay, my parent's anniversary was very well done. Not that many people came, but the food was a blast. Chicken rendang, sambal sotong kering, nasi himpit, ice-cream, jelly, lodeh. Hmm, can you say senses overload? Hehehe. pity you guys weren't there. Anyway, hope there is a next year.

Loves you both
