Finally watch LOTR:ROTK yesterday. Such anticipation, such anxiety finally paid of, it was fun, it was great, it was dramatic and I enjoyed it. L and I arrive at TGV at around 10.30 am straight into the cinema thinking there's still good seats around. How wrong were we thinking like that? All 3 cinema was practically full already. But we managed to get the back row but at the dreaded entrance seats. Oh you know, where for every 5 minutes it'll always be opened by somebody and interrupting people sitting beside it in the process, namely us. But it was an enjoyable movie nontheless.

At 10.45 the ticket buyer came, money exchanged hand. I didn't even catch her name, so Nameless Ticket Buyer, thanks. I made some money from you. L decided to buy me a shirt from Comma and I was like, 'Huh?' But it's okay I guess. There's always a first time.

So, LOTR:TTT extended started at 11am. It was nice to see it that way, longer and uncut, the way Peter Jackson initially did it. Finally saw why Faramir acted like that, I would've forever thought he's an asshole if I didn't see the longer version. He's the mistreated son with the 2nd child syndrome. Always have to be under Boromir shadow, especially when Boromir always calls him 'Little brother'. But enough already about TTT, especially when ROTK was a mere hours away. So L and I watch TTT, looking for the added stuff and added some of our patented jokes (patented coz she always seems to be thinking of the same jokes I was thinking). Especially when Legolas was looking at Aragorn eyes longingly. ;P

We both decided to get outta there and to the other cinema (we had to change cinema for ROTK) a few minutes early, during the scene where Gandalf arrive to save the day, so we can get a good seat for ourselves (how kiasu of us ;P), and again there's already people queueing up. Huh. So queue up we go and met Jali, my friend at SMPT and being a peudo asshole as always. Had to queue for a good 15 minutes, and people started to pile up behind us. Everyone was getting anxious and grouchy and the TGV guys were watching us like we would stomp them just for showing their face (actualy in my mind I had already imagining it :) ). No offence to those who work at TGV, they just doing their job. The Indonesian cleaning lady was 'senyum2 simpul' as if we were 'ngurating' them. Huh, orang nak tengok LOTR le, bukan tengok lho!.

When the door was finally opens I ran as fast as I could to get a good seats. But a mere few second as I was in the cinema I heard a guy yells, "stop pushing me!!" and the other one shouted,"I didn't Fucking push you!!" and before I knew it, Bang!, Pow!, Kaboom!, those two guys were fighting like Uruk Hai having a mad on to one of the Orcs.

"Wow," I thought, "this is great. Live fight and I don't have to pay".

Now, before you guys goes,"Judo-Asshole, why didn't you separate them?" Let me answer by saying, "Are you crazy? When I say Uruk-Hai, I really mean it" They were huge! So rather than getting my ass on the line I was busy looking for the elusive Holy grail. The Great One. The Center Seat.

Finally, a good seat. 2nd row from behind center court, woohoo! Kiasuism does pay. Hehe. I feel like Indiana Jones. Except less macho and not as hairy.

So for the next 3 hours and 30 minutes later L and I were tranfixes to the screen. The movie was good, great even. As I didn't even finish reading the book yet (I promised myself to read it only after the 3rd movie so I won't know what was missing and therefore I can enjoy the movie) I feels great. The action, the suspens, the fighting scenes feels more real because it's in the open now and in broad daylight. The hobbits was cute in their armor, Eowyn was cuter, and Legolas was the cutest (according to the girl beside L who practically shouted 'cutenye!' when Legolas shows his face at the end of the movie). L and me keep making dialog for Aragorn and Legolas when they talks in elves language. Especially when Aragorn was finally crowned as king at the end and he sees Legolas he says something to him that wasn't subtitled and I added as "I love you". Hehe. I had to practically put my hand on L's mouth to keep her from laughing out loud.

Btw, did you guys catch Faisal Hussein's cameo as an elves? Bet you didn't see it coming huh? Hehehe. Ok, right after Aragorn sees Arwen at the end of the movie and they kissed, right after it they show Elrond smiling and who is it beside him? Voila! Who else but Faisal Hussien himself. Ok, ok, it's not him but somebody else who looks like him, but nevertheless it was funny. Come to think about it, I saw Haldir once having a bite at Burger King last week.

except fatter.
